TK Play was proud to be involved in the creation of a bespoke play park for South Molton. The site's size and enthusiastic team allowed for installation of multiple large pieces of equipment some of which is the first of it kind to be installed in North Devon. Equipment included; a below level trampoline suitable for Wheelchairs, a Rope End Swinger as featured in our products page as well as a Birds Nest Tree as well as many Bespoke Details, Seating and Shelters. The site can be viewed in our Photo Gallery. TK Play would like to thank Peter Leaver, a local landscape developer who contributed to the project and bespoke designer Andy Frost.

TK Play in association with Pearce Construction, Westward Housing and Torrington Town Council have recently completed works refurbishing the play park at Greenbank.The site now includes 2x sets of swings complete with a nest basket alongside a spinger, hip hop seesaw, slide and inclusive trampoline.

Project Consultation TK Play recommend a consultation process involving all of the playground users. During this consultation we can ascertain the style of equipment that appeals to our client, for example; Bouncing, Swinging, Sliding, Climbing and Rocking. Inclusivity issues, DDA requirements and the age group provision will also be discussed at this point. This involves various meetings and discussions, resulting in site surveys plans and presentations specifically designed for the Individual customer. Design TK Play are able to provide basic plans through to CAD drawings for larger projects. We explore ideas using 3D software, allowing us to present each client with detailed visualisations of their project. Installation We have over 25 year's experience of installing play equipment and examples of our work can be seen throughout the South West and across the UK. We have developed a highly skilled installation team, who complete all the works from installation through to surfacing. All of our projects are risk assessed, and method statements produced. Site welfare is key to making sure the project goes ahead smoothly and safely. Maintenance TK Play recommend you allow a budget for future maintenance, this will elongate the life span of the equipment. We can arrange an inspection and maintenance package to suit your needs. TK Play also offer an inspection service for items above 2 meters; this is not normally covered in your normal Annual Inspection or Post Installation Inspection. TK Play maintain and refurbish existing play spaces for several large District and Town councils and schools.

Westward Ho! for Torridge District Council

TK Play are proud to have been chosen by Torridge District council, to install a new play boat for junior to Toddlers at Westward ho! TK Play were asked for ideas for the prestigious area and suggested a small wooden boat, the work was completed over 2 days and has been a great success.

The head teacher wanted something challenging for the children so they could really get the most out of break time and P.E lessons. We decided that the Jane climbing trail from the 'Adventure' range would be great for the area due to its wide range of options. There are so many points on the trail to climb and hang around, and there are also some fantastic hanging huts that are completely unique to the play industry. There are also some lovely little features on the Monkey climbing panel where you can feed the monkey bananas. The trail offers a diverse range of climbing challenges, and features some fantastic hanging huts unique to the play industry. The Monkey Climbing Panel is a great feature of the trail where you can feed the monkey bananas. The Cheops Climbing Pyramid is another multi person equipment piece we have installed to offer a range of climbing challenges, as you can see from the photos the children will have hours of fun monkeying around. TK Play and the client worked alongside each other to develop a bespoke solution for children near Octavia Rd, Southampton. Earlier this year TK Play managed a project in Octavia Rd, Southampton. The solution included several bespoke pieces including a train themed slide with connecting rope bridge, a set of climbing equipment along with a stand alone fort slide and spring based see-saw. TK Play assisted the project from conception through to installation.

Shebbear Little Bears Pre-school surfacing, Shebbear
As we are a Pre School we need a hardwearing, easy to clean and safe outdoor flooring. We had looked at a few different types of flooring and soon decided that the Wet Pour was the best choice for the Pre School.
As TKPlay is a local company we approached them for a quote for the Wet Pour Flooring as well as a few other companies.
TK Play replied quickly to our email and a visit was booked for TKPlay to come and give us a quote. Ross from TKPlay came and measured up he answered all our questions and was friendly and helpful. This was before the summer holidays. During the summer holidays we decided that we were going to go with the TK Play quote. Also During the summer holidays we had had a sandpit installed and a new decking area laid. So we contacted TK Play saying we would like to go with them but could they come and check the measurements as the sandpit and decking were now in place. This was not a problem and Terry came out to check the measurements.
Terry is very down to earth, great to communicate with face to face, on the phone and via email. He came and checked the measurements answered a few more questions we had. The Job was then booked for October half term as this was the next time the Pre School would be closed. Ross and 2 other men completed the work with Terry over seeing the job. All the work force were polite, easy to talk to and helpful. The work was completed in the time scale we were given and the Pre School was left clean and tidy. We are very pleased with the work completed by TK Play.
The staff, Children and Parents love the new Wet Pour Flooring it is a great colour, we can sweep sand and leaves up off of it and it is safe for the children to play on. We highly recommend TKPlay and will be dealing with them in the future when we update our climbing frame.
